Community Pumpkin Patch
For over a decade, Bethany has hosted a fun-filled pumpkin patch - now a community tradition.
Trunk or Treat
At the end of the month, church volunteers host Trunk or Treat for the local community on the lower parking lot. Dinner is served in our fellowship hall and children frolic on jump castles, play games with prizes, and gather goodies from vibrantly decorated vehicles.
One October Friday night, Children’s Ministry hosts a family movie night serving hot dogs, drinks, and treats. Families bring their own chairs or blankets and gather around as a community to watch a classic movie, such as The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.
United Methodist Men's Homemade BBQ Dinner
Early October, its simply the best barbecue in town and a popular night out for locals with an old fashioned price of only $10.00 per heaping plate of yummy Southern home barbecue and sides, eat-in or to-go!
Ark in the Park
Plans are underway to host our first Ark in the Park on a Saturday afternoon at our next Pumpkin Patch. Pets and their humans will be welcomed on church grounds with a photo booth, treats, prizes, and a formal blessing of our pets by our pastor.

Setting up & hosting the Pumpkin Patch each October requires a tremendous amount of service hours (fun with some physical labor) and this necessitates the annual commitment of a large group of volunteers.
